Nicholas Chretien

Executive Director

Nick Chretien is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of EAG. Nick’s work has focused on launching the Commercial Property Revitalization program (CPR), a small-scale commercial development program, and advancing EAG’s services to its Anchor Partners.

Daniel Bancroft

Operations Manager

Daniel is the Operations Manager of the Economic Action Group, Inc. (EAG) and started with the organization as an intern in 2018. Daniel’s work with EAG focuses on the day-to-day management of the organization, supervising interns within the EAG Community-Engaged Learning Program, and supporting Partnerships.

Kennedy Kish

Marketing Manager

Kennedy graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Dayton in 2024 with a major in Communication and a minor in Marketing. Her role as EAG’s Marketing Manager largely consists of social media, designing marketing materials, photography, and videography.

Danielle Griffith

GIS Analyst

Danielle serves as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst at EAG. In this capacity, she applies her expertise in spatial analysis, cartography, and visual data interpretation to develop detailed analyses, reports, and infographics that assist with data-driven decision-making efforts.

Marcelle Wilson, PhD

Development Director

As the Development Director at the Economic Action Group, Marcelle oversees fundraising activities, manages grants, and develops comprehensive strategies to support our mission.

Nicole Marino

CPR Project Coordinator

Nicole serves as the Project Coordinator for the Commercial Property Revitalization (CPR) program. Building on years of community engagement projects through a variety of groups in the Northeast Ohio area, she enjoys connecting with the community in her position.

Emily Wire

Nonprofit Engagement Coordinator

Emily is a Youngstown native, growing up on the south side. She graduated from Youngstown State University in 2020 with degrees in Technical Writing and Political Science. She is proud to serve the city that raised her with an unrelenting loyalty to her Youngstown roots.

Jessica Robinson McNees

Downtown Ambassador Coordinator

Jessica’s position supports hands-on revitalization efforts in the heart of downtown Youngstown. Guided by a background in community engagement, event coordination, and human-centered design, she is honored to bring her expertise to supporting the ongoing development and revitalization of downtown Youngstown in a thoughtful and meaningful manner.

Ben Kerr

Graphic Designer

Ben started interning with EAG in the spring of 2019. He is a graduate of Youngstown State University (2020), with a BFA in Graphic and Interactive Design. His role consists of stylizing and maintaining websites for EAG and our partners, along with creating renderings of potential redevelopment opportunities.

Graphic Designer

Giovanni is a graduate of YSU with a Bachelors of Fine Art: Graphic + Interactive Design track. His role at EAG involves designing a wide range of projects to assist in marketing for our many partners and programs.

Venus Cataldo

CITY Program, Assistant Site Coordinator

Venus is the Assistant Site Coordinator of the CITY Internship Program at EAG, and began in the summer of 2023 as a seasonal employee. Venus works with the interns to connect them with community leaders and assists with the organization of EAG Programs. During the rest of the year, Venus is a high school biology teacher.

Downtown Ambassador

Joe is a Youngstown native and graduated from YSU in 2023 with a major in Economics. Throughout his time at YSU he has been involved with community engagement, economic development, and local government. His role at EAG is to ensure that the downtown area is safe for both patrons and businesses.

Vash Penn

Downtown Ambassador

Vash is a creative leader and community advocate dedicated to building connection, safety, and pride in Downtown Youngstown. With a background in storytelling, branding, and grassroots engagement, she brings a unique perspective to EAG’s revitalization efforts, helping to ensure the downtown area remains welcoming for residents, visitors, and businesses alike. Her work reflects a deep commitment to collaboration, creativity, and care for the city’s continued growth.

Gianna Marinucci

CITY Site Coordinator

Gianna works as CITY Site Coordinator for EAG. She began in the summer of 2022 as a seasonal employee, then worked as a Program Manager. Gianna is also a high school math teacher.

Adrian Griffin

Design and Marketing Intern

Adrian is a student at Youngstown State University majoring in Graphic and Interactive Design, with a minor in Marketing. Her internship at EAG includes creating graphic design assets for marketing and development. She hopes to use her art and design skills to inspire others and connect people in the community.

Kritika Rai

Community Development Intern

Kritika is an international student from Nepal studying at YSU. She is a sophomore majoring in Environmental Science with a minor in Geography. At EAG, she supports the CPR team in various community development and engagement projects. She values building meaningful connections with community members and enjoys contributing to initiatives that create a positive impact.

Accounting Intern

Joel is a senior majoring in Finance at Kent State University. His internship at EAG involves assisting with financial management and administrative tasks. He will also support accounting needs of the Western Reserve Port Authority.

Alexandrea Lundborg

CITY Support Intern

Alexandrea is a student at YSU who earned her Associates in Business Administration and is continuing her education as a double major in Anthropology and History. She will serve as a 2026 CITY Support Intern, returning to the program she first completed as a high school student in 2024. Alexandrea is excited to help guide and support the next generation of interns as they navigate the program.

Marketing Intern

Rijan is a sophomore at Youngstown State University majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics. In his role as a marketing intern, he produces and edits visual content by capturing photos and videos from events across downtown, supporting digital marketing efforts and audience engagement.
