Our intern team is integral to the implementation of these services, as we can recruit students in specific programs at local universities and match their skills with each new project. We will be transitioning our response efforts towards recovery and continued sustainability within the local economy. Outreach will continue as financial assistance becomes available from the local, state, or federal government. Targeted business assistance will increase as businesses return to pre-pandemic operations, seek new commercial space, and collaborative public sector partnerships expand. Major planning efforts are underway along our commercial corridors, as well as providing assistance for the $82 million in American rescue Plan (ARP) funding the City of Youngstown is receiving for COVID-19 recovery efforts.
